2019 JAMB RESULT IS OUT: 1,792,719 RELEASED, 49,265 WITHHELD

The Joint Admission and matriculation Board, JAMB has released the UTME results of 1792,719 candidates who sat for the 2019 Unified tertiary Matriculation examination (UTME) . Some 34,120 results are being withheld including the results of 15,145 candidates being further clarified as identical twins and siblings.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede made this known to news reporters on Saturday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Many candidates have checked and received their results using the method below.

How To Check 2019 JAMB UTME Result Via SMS/TEXT

1.   Get a phone with the number you used to register

2.   Open text message, and send an SMS with the word “RESULT” in capital letters to 55019.

3.   You will get a response with your 2019 JAMB Results.

Those who were ABSENT, got their Registration CANCELLED or have their results WITHGELD will be told

Responses To expect after Sending RESULT to 55019

1.   If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a  message will be sent to him/her thus: “This phone number was not used for registration”.

2.   A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear MR/Miss X, your result is as follows (and the details will be provided)

3.   If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidates.

4.   If a candidates belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be ”Result withheld pending the upload of clarification/document required from you”.

5.   If a candidate was absent, He/she will get “CANDIDATE ABSENT”. As feedback.

6.   A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.

7.   “Invalid Entrance into the exam Hall” will be sent to the candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.
